The building in which the Hotel Fiorita is located was built at the beginning of the century, around 1920, at the same time when the main railway station (Santa Maria Novella) was built. The hotel is located on the 3rd floor of the building and in its origin it was the private flat of one of the richest family's of Florence, the Conti family. Conti Lando became mayor of the city in 1983.

Each room has a bathroom and is well equipped with sat/tv, minibar, safe, telephone, hair dryer in the bathroom, and air conditioning in the summer time. We want our guests to be as comfortable as possible, so if there is anything that you need, please let us know.

Although things have changed since the time the building was built, you still may feel the atmosphere of living in an old, charming Florentine apartment. Despite the age of the building, the hotel is in excellent shape; and all the rooms have been recently renovated to provide ours guests with with most of the modern amenities desired today.
